Below is information that William Carey University athletics requires for its new and returning student-athletes. All information must be submitted prior to your participation in practice or games at William Carery University.

NAIA Eligibility Center (Click Here)(New Students Only)

The National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics (NAIA) requires all first time student- athletes to complete the NAIA Eligibility Center for an eligibility determination. Transfer students must submit transcripts from all previous schools attended and first time freshman must submit High School Transcript and ACT/ SAT score to the Eligibility Center.  For a student –athlete to be able to compete they must have this determination from the NAIA. William Carey University requires all new student-athletes to register with the NAIA Eligibility Center before August 1st for your scholarship to be posted to your account.


Athletic Training Information - (Completed Yearly by All Student Athletes)

William Carey University works in partnership with Encore Rehab for our athletic training needs.  WCU utilizes SportWare On-Line Injury Software to track injuries, medical history, insurance, and medical alerts. In the registration process student-athletes will upload image of current insurance card and US driver’s license or valid picture ID to their account.  All WCU student- athletes must register and complete all sections in order to practice or compete for William Carey University. Returning student-athletes must login and update medical information yearly.Setup can be completed from your smartphone, tablet, or computer.

William Carey University will continue to randomly drug test student-athletes for street drugs and performance enhancing drugs (PED) this year. All student- athletes are required to sign a consent form and return it to the athletic training office before you will be allowed to participate in intercollegiate athletics at WCU.
