Rome, GA. - The William Carey University women's track and field team  posted a team score of 113 as they finish in second place in the  inaugural Southern States Athletic Conference Track and Field Championships this past weekend on the campus of Shorter University.

Norcross, Ga.- For the third time this season William Carey University Track & Field standout Tisa Smith has been named SSAC Field Athlete of the Week for the week ending on April 14^th.

Jackson, Miss.- William Carey University competed in the 2013 Mississippi College Open on Friday afternoon and track & field standouts Tisa Smith and Joash Osoro captured four events as they each secured spots in the 2013 NAIA Outdoor Track & Field National Tournament.

Jackson, Miss.- William Carey University men's and women's track & field competed in the 2013 Mississippi College Twilight Invitational this past Friday.  The women' team would take 7^th overall while the men's team finished 10^th as a whole.
