Hattiesburg, MS- The Carey Baseball team split a doubleheader today at Milton Wheeler Field with visiting Martin Methodist. The Crusaders won game one 10-0 before dropping game two 3-2.
Hattiesburg, MS- The 14th ranked Crusader baseball team returned to Milton Wheeler Field today and whipped Martin Methodist 10-1 in the first game of SSAC series. With the win, Carey improves to 28-13, 14-5 SSAC keeping its hopes alive for a regular season championship.

BILOXI, MS – Jacob Nottingham's solo blast in the second inning was all the offense necessary Tuesday, as the Biloxi Shuckers topped the William Carey Crusaders in their final tuneup before Southern League play begins 6-0 at MGM Park. Eight Biloxi pitchers combined for the one-hit shutout, as the group of Biloxi relievers retired 21 of 23 Crusaders on the night.
Hattiesburg, MS- The William Carey Baseball team will venture out of college play tomorrow as they visit the Milwaukee Brewers AA team, the Biloxi Shuckers. The game is being played to benefit the tornado relief fund for William Carey.
Montgomery, AL- The 23rd ranked Crusaders took a crucial series from 2nd ranked Faulkner University yesterday at Harrison Field. Carey took game one of the doubleheader by a score of 3-2 before dropping the nightcap 6-1. The Crusaders have a conference bye next weekend and will have to await results from around the league to see where they finish in the final conference standings. Currently the Crusaders sit in third place, two games behind first place Middle Georgia and one game behind Faulkner. Carey owns the tie breaker with both teams in the event the teams finish with the same records.
Montgomery, AL- The 23rd ranked Crusaders took the first game of the series tonight on the road against the 2nd ranked Faulkner Eagles. Tyler James (JR/Slidell, La.) and James Land (SR/Gulfport, Miss.) both launched home runs and Lane Fazende (SR/Picayune, Miss.) threw 4 innings of scoreless baseball to pick up the win.
