Mobile Routs Dillard in Game One of Doubleheader
 
Hattiesburg, MS- Eighteen hits, including nine extra base hits, helped the University of Mobile pounded out 14 runs as they easily defeat Dillard University 14-0.

 

Mobile plated nine runs in the first inning and never looked back. UM Starter Kamaron Strickland flirted with a five inning perfect game but defensive error to lead off the fifth ended the bid.

Strickland fanned 11 Lady Blue Devils in the no hit effort.

 

Desiree Truett, Holli McLeod, Nicole Walker, and Erica Bracey each had three hits on the game. Truett also drove in four runs.

Game two is slated to begin at 3:00 pm.
