Head Coach
Wendy Hogue is set to begin her fifth season at the reigns of the Lady Crusader softball program. Last season was a record setting season for the Lady Crusaders as they posted a 40-14 record and earned the schools first berth to the NAIA national tournament.

Hogue first arrived at Carey in 1995 and played on the inaugural team under current Baylor head coach Glenn Moore. While at Carey, Hogue was the recipient of the Holbrook Award for academic excellence in athletics and graduated with Summa Cum Laude honors in 1998 with a Bachelors of Science in Education.

Hogue's coaching career began as an assistant coach for slow-pitch softball in 1998 at Petal High School. In 2000, Hogue became the first head coach for fast pitch softball at Petal. In her five years with the Lady Panthers, her teams reached the playoffs each year and won two district titles.

In 2004, Hogue took over the Lady Crusaders softball team. In four seasons, Hogue has compiled a 96-81 record and led the Lady Crusaders to their first regional tournament appearance, first national tournament appearance, and first national ranking.

Wendy has been married for seven years to Eric and they have one daughter Kinley Grace (4).
