Hattiesburg, MS- Six Lady Crusaders were selected to the 2008 Gulf Coast Athletic Conference women's soccer All-Conference team as voted on by league coaches. Shannon Steffen, Whitney Stewart, Aimi Beresford, Jeana Erickson, Natalia Nino, and Jordan Morrison were each selected first team All-GCAC.
        
Steffen, a senior forward from Frisco, TX, has totaled 12 goals and 10 assist on the season. The is Shannon's thrid selction to the first team All-Conference. Steffen was also named GCAC Offensive Player of the Year for the second season in a row.
     
Stewart, a senior defender from Pascagoula, MS, earned first team All- Conference honors for the second straight year despite missing time with an injury.
     
Beresford, a junior midfielder form Normanton, England, picked up her second straight selection to the All-GCAC first team. Beresford has been solid all season long for the Lady Crusaders totaling 10 goals and 6 assists on the year.
     
Erickson, a junior forward from Biloxi, MS, was named to the first team for the second time in her career. For the seaosn Erickson has totaled 13 goals, including a hat trick in the GCAC Championship game against Belhaven.
     
Nino, a sophomore midfielder from Houston, TX, earned her first selection to the All-GCAC team. For the season Nino has totaled 13 goals to tie for the team lead.
     
Morrison, a freshman goalkeeper from Long Beach, MS, picked up her first selction to the All-GCAC team. Morrison has recorded 49 saves and worked three shutouts this season for the Lady Crusaders.
