Pulaski, TN- A defensive lapse in the 74th proved costly for the Lady Crusaders as they suffer a disappointing tie against Notre Dame College Sunday afternoon on the campus of Martin Methodist College.

Sasha Rodriguez struck in the 25th minute to put WCU up 1-0 heading into the break. In the second half the Lady Crusaders seemed to finding their stride but Notre Dame keeper Kristy Kolschetzky came up with three huge saves then Katie Christensen leveled the score at 1-1 with her goal in the 74th minute.

WCU got off five shots in the extra frames but failed to score the game winner to fall to 2-0-2 on the season.

WCU will make their home debut on Friday as they take on former GCAC rival LSU-Shreveport. Kick-off is set for 5:00 pm at Crusader Field.
