Kansas City, MO- William Carey University  women's soccer team will open the 2010 season ranked in the NAIA Coaches Top 25.

Lady Crusader soccer enters the 2010 NAIA Coaches Preseason Top 25 ranked 9th. Carey soccer finished last season ranked 20-2-1, captured their third straight GCAC championship, and made their second straight trip to the national tournament.  Fellow Southern States Athletic Conference (SSAC) member and the two time defending National Champions; Lee University took the top honors while Auburn Montgomery jumped in at No. 13.

The Lady Crusaders open the season against University of Houston Victoria in Brownsville, Texas on August 27th.

The poll was voted upon by a panel of head coaches representing each of the conferences, independents and unaffiliated groups. The first regular season Top 25 poll will be announced on Sept. 7.
