Hattiesburg, MS- William Carey baseball coach Bobby Halford has announced the signing of JUCO standouts Tyler Gardner, Ronald Camacho, and Javier Ortiz for the 2010-11 season. 
Gardner, a former West Jones High standout, led Jones County Junior College in the "Triple Crown" categories with a .413 batting average, 10 home runs and 57 RBIs. He was also the team leader in stolen bases with 19 and slugging percentage at .749. Gardner was selected as a third team Division II NJCAA All-American

Camacho and Ortiz come to Carey from Iowa Lakes Community College. Last season Ortiz hit .364 with 10 home runs, 10 doubles, and 50 RBI's. Camacho led Iowa Lakes in the "Triple Crown" categories hitting .469 with 18 home runs and 81 RBI's
