Hattiesburg, MS- William Carey men's tennis coach Christoph Schaefer has announced the signing of Hinds Community College standout Duffy Loel for the 2010-11 year.

Loel, a native of Vicksburg and graduate of St. Aloysius High school, experienced a wealth of success in singles play for the Eagles over his two-year career. He won the 2009 state championship as a freshman in the number three singles slot at the Mississippi Association of Community and Junior Colleges (MACJC) state tournament.
 

Loel also competed in the 2010 state tournament, finishing in the runner-up spot. The high finish allowed Loel to compete in the 2010 National Junior College Athletic Association (NJCAA) national tournament held in Plano, Texas
