Hattiesburg, MS- William Carey seniors Jason Terrell, Matt Carter and Josh Dannelley have been named to the 2010 GCAC All Conference baseball team as voted on by league coaches.
Terrell, a native of Lafayette, Louisiana, led WCU at the plate hitting .361 with 12 home runs, 12 double, 3 triples, and 56 RBI. Terrell started all 58 games this season for the Crusaders.
Dannelley, a native of Satsuma, Alabama, hit .333 with 10 home runs, 16 doubles, two triples, and 50 RBI.
Carter, a native of Defuniak Springs, Florida, posted a 7-1 record for the Crusaders. In 62 2/3 innings, Carter recorded 67 strikeouts and limited opponents to a .259 batting average. Carter recorded three complete games, had two saves, and posted a 4.16 ERA. Carter was also named to Gold Glove team posting a perfect fielding record.
