Alyssa Boutwell- GCAC Pitcher of the Week
Hattiesburg, MS Sophomore pitcher Alyssa Boutwell has been named GCAC Softball Pitcher of the Week for the week ending on May 1st..
      
The former Columbia Academy standout was brilliant in the decisive game of the 2010 GCAC Tournament as she fired six innings of shutout ball to power WCU to its second consecutive tournament title. Boutwell also defeated Mobile in the tournament opener.
 

William Carey advances to the NAIA Unaffiliated Conference Tournament in Charleston, West Virginia. The Lady Crusaders will take on SUNY- Canton in a three game series beginning on May 6th at 1:00 pm.
