Hattiesburg, MS -  The men's soccer team won a 3 game event over the weekend defeating Spring Hill College 2-0, Dallas United 4-0 and Mandeville Lakers 7-0 in a mini event format. The Crusaders were strong on defense not giving up a goal and their depth also contributed. The wins were great preparation for next Saturday's Homecoming Weekend when the alumni game will kick-off at 4.00pm.  The alumni expect to field a strong line-up including Florent Sourice who is flying in from Los Angeles where he now lives. Sourice ('05) was an Academic All-American at Carey along with teammate Jared Wooley ('07 & '08) and Tito Salas ('09) who are also expected to play.
