Hattiesburg, MS- Judy Barber homered, doubled, and drove in three runs and Katie MCrary was efficient in a complete game effort as William Carey knocked off Grace College, 9-2 in game one of the double header.

The Lady Crusaders pushed across four runs in the fourth inning which was capped with Shana Gunter's two run double off the left field wall. Grace College cut the lead to 4-2 with two runs in the top of the fifth but WCU answered with a five run fifth inning. In the inning Barber belted a two run home run and WCU took advantage of Grace College error to plate three more runs.

McCrary allowed just four hits and fanned six batters to improve to 4-0 on the season.

Game two is slated to begin at 5:00 pm.
