Mobile, AL- William Carey men's golf opened the spring portion of the 2009-10 schedule with a disappointing fifth place finish in the Badger Invitational.

The Crusaders posted rounds of 314-323 to finish twenty shots behind host Spring Hill College. SHC took top honors firing rounds of 313-304.

Senior Matt Hungerman earned all tournament honors posting rounds of 77-74 to finish one shot behind Faulkner's Erik Hilde.

Carey returns to action in the UNA Spring Classic in Muscle Shoals, AL, on March 29-30
