Hattiesburg, MS- Seniors Alisha Mason and Kim Lewis were named to the 2009-10 GCAC Women's Basketball All Conference team as voted on by league coaches.

 

Mason, a senior Physical Education major from Ruth, MS, was outstanding this season for the Lady Crusaders averaging 14.2 points per game and 6.3 rebounds per game. The 5'11 forward led the Lady Crusaders in field goal percentage (46%), 3 PT field goals made (58), and three point field goal percentage (40%).

 

Lewis, a senior Physical Education major from Laurel, MS, averaged 14.4 points per game and 5.6 rebounds per game. The former Northeast Jones and JCJC standout led Carey in minutes played (34.4), free throws made (122), free throws attempted (162), and points (403).
