Shreveport, LA- William Carey season came to a quick end as they fall in semifinal action of the 2010 GCAC playoffs to LSU-Shreveport, 89-53 Saturday night at the Dock.

Carey struggled all night from the floor finishing the game shooting just 26% from the floor. The Pilots on the other hand had little problem putting the ball in the basket shooting 48 % from the floor. LSUS jumped out to a 44-21 lead and never looked back.

Drew Meyerchick led Carey with 13 points. Derrick Parker poured in the 26 points and pulled down 16 rebounds.

Carey ends its season at 23-8.
