MARION, Ala. - Melanie Bush threw a perfect game and Alyssa Boutwell fired a shutout as William Carey eased thru the Judson College Tournament defeating Saint Mary of the Woods and Hiwasse College.

Against Saint Mary of the Woods, Alyssa Boutwell scattered eight hits and fanned four in seven innings of work. The lone run of the game was in the second inning as Casey Alexander knocked in Larke Nightengale.

In game two against Hiwassee College, Bush pitched four innings, walked none and struck out five. Judy Barber led Carey at the plate with three hits, falling just a home run short of hitting for the cycle as the Crusaders trounced Hiwasse, 16-0.

Carey is back in action tomorrow in the UM Classic as they take on Notre Dame College and Lindsey Wilson College.
