Jackson, MS- A game high 31 points from Alisha Mason was not enough to extend the season for the Lady Crusaders as they fall to Tougaloo College, 84-67 in quarterfinal action of the 2010 GCAC playoffs.
WCU finishes with a record of 14-15.
After an early 4-2 lead Tougaloo reeled of a 12-2 run to open a 16-6 lead with 13:35 to play. Carey cut the Lady Bulldog lead to as few as four points on several occasions but could get no close. Tougaloo held a 33-26 lead at intermission and WCU never got closer than five points in the second half.
Joining Mason in double figures was Kim Lewis with 17 points and Consuela Tucker with 11 points. Kim Kern led Touglaoo with 26 points.
