Hattiesburg, MS- William Carey's three match win streak came to an end as they fall to Alcorn State University 6-3 Tuesday afternoon at Tatum Park.

Alexandra Kaluza and Anastasia Khabirova picked up one Carey point with an 8-1 win in double's action. In singles play Hollie Robinson picked up one point with a solid 6-3, 6-3 victory over Arielle Buchman in No. 1 singles. Alexandra Kaluza secured the other Lady Crusaders point with a 6-0, 6-1 victory over Kali Sandoval.

Carey is back in action in GCAC play on Saturday as they host LSU-Shreveport at the WCU Tennis Complex.
