Hattiesburg, MS- For the second time in three weeks sophomore forward Brandon Cooks has been named GCAC Men's Basketball Player of the Week.

The Thibodaux, LA, native averaged 19.3 points per game and 5 rebounds per game as the Crusaders went 3-0 last week defeating No. 19 Belhaven University, No. 4 LSU-Shreveport, and Xavier University. The Crusaders are now 21-4 on the season and ranked 18th in the latest NAIA poll. This the third straight week Carey basketball has taken GCAC player of the week honors.
