Decatur, AL- Graceland University netted three goals in a ten minute span in the second half as they defeated No. 3 William Carey University, 4-1 in the sweet sixteen of the NAIA Women's Soccer National Tournament.
        
The Lady Crusaders season ends at 20-2-1.
     
Carey and Graceland battled to a scoreless tie at the break but in the 50th minute the flood gates opened. Shay Eskridge opened the scoring with a 25 yard rip to upper left ninety and three minutes later Chelsea Phillips collected a rebound off the post to make it 2-0 in favor of the Lady Yellowjackets. The third goal in the ten minute spurt came when Karina Vega scored off an Ainsley Nagora cross in the 63rd minute.
     
Carey's Natalia Nino trimmed the lead to 3-1 with a goal in the 72nd minute but Phillips put the Lady Crusaders away executing a sensational give and go with Sara Mancini in the 80th minute.
 
The Lady Crusaders out shot the the Lady Yellowjackets 25-24 on the day including a 14-11 mark in the second half.
        
Jackie DeNova recorded 10 saves in goal for the Lady Crusaders.
