William Carey vs Union (KY) Saturday November 21st
Kansas City, MO- For the second time in as many seasons William Carey women's soccer will play host to the opening round game of the 2009 NAIA Women's Soccer National Championship.
       

The Lady Crusaders earned the overall No. 5 seed and will take on Union (KY) on Saturday November 21st. Union (KY) is making their third appearance in the national tournament and first since 2003. The Appalachian Athletic Conference Champions are 16-2-1 on the season.

 
The Lady Crusaders are 19-1-1 on the season and making their second straight appearance in the national tournament and third overall. Last season the Lady Crusaders advanced to the elite eight.
     
The winners of the National Championship Opening Round games will advance to the National Championship final site from Nov. 30 - Dec. 5 in Decatur, Ala.
     
Game time for the Saturday's game will be determined mid-week.
