Hattiesburg, MS- No. 7 William Carey defeated Covenant (Ga.) College 3-0 in non-conference action Tuesday afternoon at Crusader Field.

Sophomore Courtney Brinson came off the bench to record a goal and an assist, and the Lady Crusaders also got goals from Jeana Erickson and Jeana Gilbert in the win.

Jackie DeNova recorded two saves in working the shutout.

The Lady Crusaders hit the road on Saturday as they take on LSU-Shreveport. Carey's next home matchup is on October 27th against Belhaven College.
