MONTGOMERY, Ala. – No. 2 Xavier (La.) def. No. 7 William Carey (Miss.) in the quarterfinals of the 2017 NAIA Men's Tennis National Championship Thursday.

 

The Crusaders finish the season with an 18-6 record. William Carey's wins came in the form of an 8-1 victory at No. 2 doubles from Vladyslav Ladygin (JR/Kyiv, Ukraine) and Christian Hansson (SO/Vanersborg, Sweden) and a 6-4, 6-2 win at No. 1 singles from Ladygin.
