Hattiesburg, MS- Head coach Nigel Boulton has announced the addition of Patrick Winters to the Crusader coaching staff for 2009. Winters who has previously played and coached at Carey will move into the vacant graduate assistant position with immediate effect. "Patrick will largely have responsibility for our freshmen and transfer students, our work study students and his experience as an international student himself will help get our new internationals settled quickly", said Boulton. Winters is in his final year of graduate school and last played for Carey in the 2005 season. He is a native of Dublin, Ireland. Boulton went on to say that, "Although this is Patrick's first year as a GA he has had plenty of experience coaching as a student assistant, high school coach and club coach in the recent past. His help in the office and with recruiting will be invaluable and his familiarity with the school and other administrative staff should help keep things running smoothly".
