Daytona Beach, Fla.- #14 William Carey University women's soccer wrapped up their Florida road trip with a disappointing 3-2 loss at the hands of #10 Northwood on Monday morning at Embry Riddle University.

After falling behind 1-0 WCU evened the score in the 29th minute as Casey Miniard scored off a corner kick to tie the game at 1-1. Northwood moved ahead just two minutes into the second half thanks to a goal from Louise Andersson but the Lady Crusaders answered back as Emmaleigh Davis connected on her sixth goal of the season in the 62nd minute to tie the game. The score remained tied until the 84th minute when Johann Engberg scored off a corner kick to put Northwood up for good.

Northwood held a 17 to 5 advantage in shots. Linfah Jones recorded six save in the goal for WCU.

Things don't get any easier for the Lady Crusaders as they welcome #1 Lindsey Wilson to Crusader Field on Friday afternoon. Kickoff is set for 7:00 pm.
