Towson, Md.- William Carey standouts Sarah Beckman and Hannah Cook-Kelley were named 2013 Capital One Academic All-America® College Division Softball Team, as selected by the College Sports Information Directors of America (CoSIDA).

The Capital One Academic All-America® College Division softball team is comprised of student-athletes from NAIA, Canadian and two-year institutions. Nominees must be a starter for key reserve, at least a sophomore in school, and maintain a 3.30 GPA.

Beckman, a native of Meridian, Miss., returned from last year's season ending knee injury to earn second team honors as she hit .321 with 4 home runs, 4 triples, 6 doubles, and 31 RBI's. Beckman led WCU with 51 runs scored and 8 stolen bases.

Cook-Kelley earned third team honors hitting a team high .386 for head coach Wendy Hogue's Lady Crusaders. The Phoenix, Arizona, native also led WCU with 14 doubles and 45 RBI's.
