Hattiesburg, MS- Rod Little scored 22 points and Donzedrick Smith added 20 as William Carey ended a five game skid with a resounding 83-59 victory over Auburn Montgomery in SSAC action at Clinton Gym.

With the win WCU improves to 8-11 and 5-5 in SSAC action.

Little scored seven of WCU first ten points and finished the half with 18 points as WCU stormed to a 38-22 lead at the half. Carey blitzed the AUM zone nailing six of ten 3-point attempts in the half
WCU opened the second half with a 18-6 run and never looked back.

The Crusaders finished the game shooting 55% (34-61) from the floor and 56% (9-16) from downtown.

William Carey returns action on Thursday January 26th as they take on No. 23 Loyola University (LA). Tip-off is set for 5:30 pm in New Orleans.
